- Birth in Altenburg, Meissen, Saxony, 1610
- School in Altenburg, tutors at home, went to Schleußingen, to attend the famous gymnasium there in 1628 for three years
- 1631: went to Wittenberg to study at university: studies of philosophy and medicine with Daniel Sennert as supervisor in medicine.
PLAGUE IN WITTENBERG!

- 1631: went to Jena to study medicine with Rolfinck, recommended by the princely saxonian government of Altenburg
-Lectiones publicas and Collegia privata. He visited, respondet and was opponent in disputations "publice et privatim.
- held one disputation De Cholera 1636 under Rolfinck.
- also attended labores Chimicos = Collegia chymica with Valerio Theodoro Clementis.
- Another Disputation "De Iove" with Rolfinck in 1638
-1638: went to Schleitz, to work with the Reuß-Plauen court and town medicius Joachim Kolben.
- 1640: Doctor degree in Jena
- Practice in Schleitz in Voigtland
- offer: 1648: to be the personal and court medicus of prince Christian Markgraf of Brandenburg rejected.
- 26 June, 1648 Court and town medicus in Gera, offered by Heinrich Reuß of Plauen.
at the same time: took up the Lectio Physica at Gymnasium in Gera.

He writes on p. 64 about Donat of Freywald auf Kehna/Dammenhan and Heinersdorff as famous medicus. At that point Donat was Court-Count and Consel (1638).
